Goldcrest’ is a columnar, evergreen conifer with bright golden-yellow foliage in ascending sprays, with colour persisting into winter.÷ This is the ideal plant for the centre of a patio container, whatever the time of year. It’s a plant that will be quite happy in such a situation for many years. It can even be trained into an exquisite topiary form. Through the summer, Goldcrest’s lemon scent will help deter insects and keep knots at bay. All in all a lovely, small and easily managed tree for for the patio, or in the open garden.
