Plant Guide
Plant in areas with good exposure to sunlight and good drainage. An ideal hedging plant that will tolerate coastal winds when mature, with an average growth rate of 12 – 18 inches per year.
Best Uses
Griselinia littoralis Variegata is excellent for coastal properties as it is extremely resistant to salt-laden winds. Its dense and hardy nature makes it great for shielding against coastal wind. Can be grown in most climates except those with extreme cold.
Care Advice
We recommend pruning once a year towards the end of Autumn. They can handle hard pruning into a more specified shape.
