A beautiful evergreen, Photinia x Fraselli ‘Red Robin’ is ideal for formal hedges and garden hedges, as it requires trimming and looks equally attractive when left a little overgrown. Although less dense, Photinia Red Robin hedges are still excellent windbreaks and can help add colour and structure to your garden.
Care Advice
Pruning Photinia Red Robin hedges in spring or summer is a good idea to keep them neat and tidy. Or let it leak a bit to make it easier to adjust if needed. Photinia x fraseri can drop leaves easily. If this should happen, prune back the Photinia Red Robin hedge (don’t let it be a leafless tree) and fertilize in the spring.
