Portuguese laurel (Prunus lusitanica) is an evergreen shrub with glossy, deep green leaves on contrasting red stems. Small, fragrant white flowers come in early summer, followed by dark fruits in autumn. It thrives in most reasonable sites and soils, and its slow growth makes it easy to shape.
These plants are bare root, 1-2ft and bushy multistem. They were grown in the Staffordshire Moorlands at 900 feet above sea level, and we pack them carefully so they arrive ready to plant.
