Gold Privet (Ligustrum Ovalifolium Aureum) are a dense, bushy, evergreen hedges with large glossy, golden leaves. Gold Privet makes an excellent hedging plant and can cope with deep shade under trees as well as full sun. Small white flowers are produced on spikes in mid-spring.

Gold Privet forms thick barriers of shiny deep golden leaves making it ideal for wind shelter and visual screening. Suitable to plant all year round. Mature plants can tolerate hard pruning in spring, cutting back to the old wood. Plants are easily maintained at a smaller height and spread by annual trimming.
